Simple and to the point for my phone .

Double alert issue is back in the last couple of versions. Super annoying. Otherwise a great app.

App needs update notifications not working other wise the best news app on iOS

If the app does not crash, one must search for the story he is trying to view. The double news alerts take up time and space. There are more efficient apps and for this reason, Im deleting it.

Update: on my iPad Pro, pressing a left-column heading ALWAYS crashes the app. So its simply a notification system - I look elsewhere to actually read a news item. ===== Far, far too often tapping on a story crashes the app, returning me to the home screen. Once it happens, avoiding the problem heading is the solution. But it can happen with several stories so it becomes a game of Minefield. And the notifications are rendered useless in the free version because Im not led to the article but to the developers touted ad of-the-moment.

I love this app. It has nice filters to block off "garbage" news.

This app has become almost useless with the advent of IOS 8.1. The stories on the left panel are dead and not coming up when tapped. Many appear to not even having active links. Is anyone paying attention?

I think the app needs an update

Its pretty good. It doesnt cover everything though. It didnt say anything about the Virgin Galactic crash. However I will give 8 out of 10 which is aight

Breaking news pop-ups appear as soon as the events hit the wire.
